LAKE BOLSENA

The nearby Lake Bolsena offers you a wealth of leisure opportunities. From its beautiful beaches where you can enjoy a swim in its clear waters, to relaxing walks along all the paths that surround it. THE VIA FRANCIGENA passes through the city of Bolsena and then continues towards Montefiascone. The lake also offers all kinds of sports activities: trekking, mountain biking, sailing, canoeing, fishing and much more. The history of the lake is enriched by the stories of its two beautiful islands, Bisentina and Martana, and by the wonderful day you can spend taking a boat tour starting from Capodimonte to go around the whole lake and visit its islands.
